Job summary

Shaftesbury Treetops in Colchester is hiring Enabling Support Workers to provide compassionate, person-centred care and practical assistance to adults with disabilities. You will follow the person-centred support plan and work closely with the person supported to promote independence and wellbeing.

Duties include recording accurately, assisting with personal care and medication, and covering sleep-in shifts for an extra allowance.

Qualifications

• Desire to provide caring support and personalised care.
• Ability to follow person-centred support plan.
• Willingness to cover sleep-in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and encouragement, following the person-centred support plan.
• Maintain accurate records as required by the service.
• Administer personal care and medication as needed.
• Cover sleep-in sessions with additional pay.
