Job summary

Shaftesbury Treetops in Colchester is hiring Enabling Support Workers to provide compassionate, person-centred care and practical assistance to adults with disabilities. You will follow the person-centred support plan and work closely with the person supported to promote independence and wellbeing.

Duties include recording accurately, assisting with personal care and medication, and covering sleep-in shifts for an extra allowance.

About The Role

As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional A GBP 60 per sleep in.

Treetops is a high:dependency, residential care home providing 24:hour nursing and personal care for adults with disabilities, most of whom are younger.
