Job summary

Shaftesbury is recruiting for an Enabling Support Worker in Telford/Shrewsbury area to support adults with disabilities in independent living services. You will follow the person-centred plan, provide encouragement, and help people thrive in their local community.

The role includes maintaining records, administering personal care and medication when needed, and may require sleep-in shifts with additional pay. A DBS/Access NI check is required.

• Provide support and encouragement following person-centred plans.
• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
• Administer personal care and medication as required.

Responsibilities

• Administer personal care and medication as required.
• Cover sleep-in sessions (additional £60 per sleep-in).
• Deliver care within Shaftesbury’s disability services across adult and education settings.
