Job summary

Shaftesbury York House is recruiting for an Enabling Support Worker to provide compassionate support under personalised care plans at a residential setting in Shrewsbury.

You will maintain records, assist with personal care and medications as required, and may cover sleep-in shifts for which £60 extra is paid per sleep-in. The role requires a caring, community-minded approach and adherence to safeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and encouragement by taking direction from the person supported and the person-centred support plan.
• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
• May administer personal care and medication.
• Cover sleep-in sessions with additional pay of £60 per sleep in.
