Job summary

Shaftesbury is hiring an Enabling Support Worker in Telford to assist adults with disabilities. The role is 40 hours per week, at £12.75 per hour, with a closing date of 19/10/2026. The service emphasises person-centred, flexible care across homecare and community support, including sleep-in shifts with extra pay.

You will work under an individual support plan, maintain records, and support independent living for adults, ensuring safety, dignity, and active community participation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and encouragement by taking direction from the person supported and the person-centred support plan.
• Maintain accurate records at work in line with service requirements.
• May administer personal care and medication.
• Will cover sleep-in sessions and will be paid an additional £60 per sleep-in.
