Job summary

Shaftesbury Treetops in Colchester is recruiting for an Enabling Support Worker. You will provide support and encouragement to adults with disabilities, following a person-centred support plan and maintaining accurate records.

You may assist with personal care and medication; there is a requirement to cover sleep-in sessions, paid an extra GBP 60 per sleep-in. The role is a 40-hour week at about GBP 12.80 per hour in a high-dependency residential setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and encouragement to the person supported following the person-centred plan.
• Maintain accurate records as required by the service.
• May administer personal care and medication.
• Cover sleep-in sessions (paid an extra £60 per sleep-in).
