Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting Support Workers - Waking Nights across our Supported Living services in Nottingham. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs to lead safer, more independent lives in their homes and in the community, following personalised care plans.

We hire for values first and provide training, development and recognition. The role pays £12.71 per hour (£27,758.64 per year pro rata for a 42-hour week).

Qualifications

• Values-based hiring; skills considered second.
• No prior care experience required.
• Willingness to support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life per plans.
• Keep users safe and safeguard their welfare.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Support participation in social activities, manage finances and medications as needed.
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report and record issues to monitor wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
