Job summary

Seetec, a leading UK employability provider, seeks an Assistant Employment Adviser for an office-based role serving Bodmin and Liskeard. You will welcome participants, conduct assessments, and organise job-search activities to support successful job placements.

You will work with Employment Advisors to monitor progress, help overcome barriers to work, and deliver high-quality customer service. 37 hours per week with standard UK working patterns, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C+).
• Fully IT literate; proficient in MS Office 365, Teams and Skype for Business.
• Experience in a target-driven environment and meeting contractual/quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet and strive to exceed performance targets and customer service standards.
• Make initial outbound welcome calls to engageParticipants after referral.
• Conduct welcome meetings and gather ID evidence for DWP start admin.
• Undertake initial assessments to identify barriers to employment and schedule follow-ups.
• Organise job search activities and assist with CVs and applications; promote opportunities.
• Provide support to in-work participants and maintain regular reviews.
• Collaborate with Employment Advisors to implement SMART development targets.
• Develop knowledge of local signposting services; source local job opportunities.
