Job summary

Seetec is seeking an Employment Adviser in Exeter to provide guidance and support to participants, helping them overcome barriers to employment and reach realistic job goals. You will coach, mentor and act as the primary, trusted contact to build relationships, motivate clients and secure sustainable employment.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, initiative, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the local labour market in Exeter and surrounding areas.
• Basic knowledge of self-employment concepts.
• Fully IT literate with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a target-driven environment.
• Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
• Hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets (KPIs).
• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers to help overcome barriers to employment.
• Provide a positive experience for new customers and ensure engagement with the programme.
• Support customers with job-search and interview preparation to secure sustainable employment.
• Develop and maintain accurate customer records and comply with data protection requirements.
• Build relationships with employers and stakeholders to maximise job opportunities.
