A local employability services provider in the UK is seeking an Employability Adviser to support long-term unemployed adults in finding sustainable jobs. The role involves offering tailored career coaching, facilitating group sessions, and managing case loads to empower participants. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and an understanding of the local labor market. Are you passionate about helping people get back into work and changing their lives? Join us as an Employability Adviser delivering the Restart Scheme helping long‑term unemployed adults (6 months or more) find sustainable employment.
In this role, you’ll work one‑on‑one with participants, providing tailored employment support to break down barriers, build confidence, and equip them with the skills needed to re‑enter the job market. Whether it’s personalised career coaching, retraining for a new sector, or supported job searching, you’ll be there every step of the way.
Whilst we would be delighted to hear from you if you have previous experience of working in the employability sector, or if you have a level 4 Careers Information Advice and Guidance qualification, we are also interested to hear from people who have worked in other sectors where you’ve relished the opportunity to achieve a personal target whilst excelling at providing outstanding customer service, as long as you can demonstrate an understanding of the local labour market and an understanding of what it takes to support unemployed adults to secure sustainable employment.
