Job summary

OurCoop in the UK is seeking a Funeral Advisor to oversee the day-to-day running of our Funeral Homes, support families, maintain high standards and build trusted relationships. You’ll be flexible to cover other Funeral Homes for sickness and holidays and arrange funerals at clients’ premises as required.

You’ll combine empathy with organisation, listen actively, manage costs transparently, and travel within the area when needed.

Qualifications

• Compassionate nature with active listening to support grieving families.
• Ability to handle complex information with accuracy and care.
• Full UK Driving licence and willingness to travel within the area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of funeral homes and support families with arrangements.
• Arrange funerals and ensure transparent costing.
• Communicate arrangements clearly between families and Funeral Director.
• Perform administration duties with sensitivity and accuracy.
• Keep funeral home clean, secure, and well-presented.
• Promote Funeral Services within the local community and build relationships with hospitals, clergy and doctors.
