Job summary

Central England Co-operative is seeking a Funeral Advisor to support families through the funeral arrangement process, guiding them with empathy and clear communication while maintaining high standards across our funeral homes. You will cover other funeral homes as needed and build trusted relationships with local contacts to ensure dignity in every step.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and DBS checks are required from 1 December 2023.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate compassionate nature and active listening to support families.
• Clear communication and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel within the area and cover duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Guide families through funeral arrangements with empathy and information.
• Arrange funerals with attention to cost and transparent communication.
• Coordinate between families and Funeral Directors and manage admin tasks.
• Maintain clean, secure premises and support community relations.
• Build relationships with hospitals, clergy and local contacts.
