Are you a flexible, empathetic, and collaborative individual with substantial experience in providing support, advice, advocacy, and effective communication of clients' needs to other professionals?
Do you have a proven record of assessing the needs of vulnerable young people at high risk of harm?
If so, St Giles is seeking an Emergency Department Navigator to join our team. The role involves supporting young people admitted to hospital through to their safe discharge and ensuring access to appropriate long-term support.

About this opportunity
As part of the ED Navigator team, you will identify and assess young victims of violence, providing holistic assessments, advice, referrals, and support. You will explore innovative ways to support them, reducing their risk of re-victimisation.
You will develop support and risk management plans, promote inter-agency collaboration, and deliver support services, including social and housing support, appointment accompaniment, ETE options, and court appearances.
Building and maintaining relationships with partner agencies, you will close cases efficiently and identify ongoing support referral routes.

Additional requirements: Successful candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check due to contact with vulnerable individuals.
Positions available:
Contract duration: Until 31st March 2026, with flexible days/hours, including some evenings and weekends.
