AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a Manager, Infrastructure Energy to lead power infrastructure across northern and central Europe. You will set strategy, secure capacity, and manage grid connections while guiding a 6–8 person team and collaborating with utilities, regulators, and partners.

The role requires deep energy expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to influence outcomes in a fast-paced environment across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years in the energy sector with progression into management or regional leadership roles.
• Experience in utility engagement, power origination, and securing or grid interconnection delivery across multiple jurisdictions.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for power infrastructure planning, design, and delivery across multiple concurrent grid interconnection projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver grid connections on time and to standard; balance hands-on technical engagement with portfolio-level prioritisation.
