Job summary

Ares Management LLC is seeking a highly motivated leader to own Ada Infrastructure's energy strategy for the EMEA region. You will partner with the EMEA leadership and global teams to ensure reliable, cost-efficient power for our data center portfolio and drive renewable energy and efficiency initiatives.

You will manage power procurement, energy agreements, and sustainability programs, engaging utilities, regulators, and technology providers while guiding site selection, project energization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, energy management, business, or related field.
• Experience in energy management, utilities, or related roles in data centers or large-scale infra.
• Strong ability to negotiate energy contracts and build financial models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site selection to ensure timely and cost-effective power procurement.
• Oversee teams in energy agreements, sustainability and power projects lifecycle.
• Own energy lifecycle from site selection through energization and operations.
• Drive renewable energy targets and energy-efficiency initiatives across data centers.
• Develop strategies to reduce carbon footprint and engage with external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal and Operations to align energy strategy with business goals.
• Provide market intelligence briefings to executive leadership on power markets.
• Lead negotiations for power purchase agreements and other energy contracts.
