Job summary

Semrush UK Ltd. seeks a Technical Services Consultant to act as the technical expert in the post‑sale motion for API customers.

You will drive customers to production quickly and ensure they fully consume purchased API products, working at the intersection of engineering, product, and business with the CSM and AE on named enterprise accounts. You will own the technical workstream, guide customer engineering teams through integration design, and lead workshops to enable developers.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, Implementation Engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience working directly with engineering and development teams as a trusted technical advisor.
• Strong working knowledge of REST APIs, authentication patterns (OAuth, API keys, JWT), webhooks, and integration architecture.
• Comfortable reading and discussing code (JavaScript, Python, or similar) with developers at technical depth.
• Track record of owning measurable outcomes: time-to-live, API adoption rates, consumption metrics, NRR contributions.

Responsibilities

• Drive fast, high-quality implementation: Own the technical workstream from contract close through go-live.
• Own API consumption post-onboarding: Monitor usage and close gaps to maximize value.
• Be the technical thought partner: Run technical workshops and architecture reviews for customers.
• Remove blockers and govern delivery: Define milestones and escalate with a recommended path forward.
• Partner with the CSM on account strategy: Align technical expansion with renewal motions.
• Scale the practice: Build reusable assets and reference architectures.
