Job summary

Semrush Technical Services is seeking a seasoned Technical Services Consultant to drive API adoption for enterprise customers. You will own the technical strategy and guide engineering teams across integration design, architecture reviews, and post-onboarding API consumption.

In this role you partner with the CSM and Account Executive on named enterprise accounts, leading technical workshops and ensuring customers realize full value from Semrush APIs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication patterns (OAuth, API keys, JWT) and webhooks.
• Experience reviewing integration designs and identifying issues quickly.
• Ability to discuss with developers at technical depth without writing production code.
• Proven track record of driving API adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Comfortable engaging with executive-level stakeholders during reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical workstream for API customers from contract close through go-live.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide engineering teams through integration design.
• Monitor API usage and close consumption gaps post-onboarding.
• Run technical workshops, architecture walkthroughs, and developer enablement sessions.
• Identify blockers early and define milestones with accountability and a clear path forward.
• Collaborate with the CSM on account strategy to align technical expansion with renewals.
