Email Marketing Manager (HubSpot)

Salary: £40,000-£43,000 pa + 10% bonus based on target
(plus excellent benefits)

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Email Marketing Manager to join our friendly and supportive Marketing Team.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will need to be highly organised and take ownership of the planning, execution and optimisation of our email marketing activity. You will be the Company's HubSpot expert, responsible for building high-performing email campaigns, automations and workflows that support our business priorities, generate leads for the sales team, and increase awareness of our programmes.

This role suits someone who is comfortable managing multiple campaigns and confident using HubSpot to build and optimise email activity. You will manage our email plan end to end, from strategy and segmentation to build, testing and performance reporting, ensuring that all activity follows best practice for deliverability, accessibility and GDPR compliance.

The role will be predominantly remote with at least one day a month at our South London office.

Responsibilities
Email Campaign Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and maintain the email marketing plan aligned to business priorities, sales goals and target audiences.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to prioritise campaigns and ensure alignment with wider marketing strategy.
  • Convert business requirements into email campaigns, audience segments and automation workflows.
HubSpot Campaign Build & Execution
  • Build, test and send email campaigns and newsletters in HubSpot.
  • Work with colleagues to gather messaging and create or brief clear, accurate email content.
  • Run A/B tests to improve subject lines, content, design and conversion.
  • Ensure all campaigns follow best practice for deliverability, accessibility, GDPR and brand consistency.
  • Support the introduction of new capabilities including landing pages and automated nurture journeys.
Marketing Operations & Optimisation
  • Maintain CRM data quality and support improvements in HubSpot.
  • Help develop areas we are beginning to build out, such as custom properties, segmentation logic and enhanced personalisation.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing colleagues to introduce and refine lead scoring.
  • Review and refine workflows, templates and automations to increase efficiency and conversion.
  • Support cross‑team adoption of HubSpot and act as the internal go‑to expert for troubleshooting and training.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyse email performance and report on key metrics including conversions and lead quality.
  • Produce dashboards and insights for Sales and Marketing.
  • Use data to guide improvements, especially as we expand our use of HubSpot features.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering and optimising email marketing.
  • Strong HubSpot experience is essential, including automations, workflows, lists, lead scoring and reporting.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data and turn insights into practical improvements.
  • Confident working cross‑functionally and communicating with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience or interest in government‑funded learning programmes, especially apprenticeships, or EdTech (advantageous).
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub (essential).
  • HTML (desirable).
  • Salesforce or another CRM (advantageous).
  • Understanding of deliverability, segmentation and email marketing best practice.
  • Demonstrates commitment to our values and expected behaviours.
