Overview

Elite Transient Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer (including Warrant Officer) - Ipswich. Department: YUS - FT13 - General Engineers. Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time. Location: Ipswich. Reporting To: Regional Field Manager. Compensation: £44,805 / year.

Technical upskilling, full debt training and ongoing mentoring support provided. Hours: Working away - Open to discuss levels of Transient work 1,2 & 3 (1 week out of 4, 2 weeks out of 4, 3 weeks out of 4). Location: Ipswich – IP Postcodes Only.

Description

This role focuses on delivering a variety of metering outcomes in the commercial sector, with upskilling opportunities in three phase, medium pressure, debt resolution and warrants. You will be upskilled to deliver a range of metering activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Responsible for the safe installation, exchange, commission, removal and ongoing maintenance of metering systems and associated equipment and communication systems
• Undertake friendly Debt Resolution Visits with the aim to fit a Smart Meter and collect outstanding debt (dedicated back-office support team to support you)
• Undertaking Warrant Officer visits to resolve debt (dedicated back-office support team to support)

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

• Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) Experience
• Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)

Desirable:

• MET4 – Small commercial gas metering
• Current Transformer (CT)
• Three Phase
• REGT1-Medium Pressure

Additional Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence
• Pass a colour blindness test
• Pass a DBS check
