Job summary

Elite Retail Security Officers in Avon & Somerset, working with Tesco, join TSS as dedicated security professionals committed to protecting people and assets. You will receive induction and on-site training, welfare checks with managers, and ongoing support as part of a large international company.

To be considered you must hold an SIA door supervisor licence and have a minimum of three years' security experience.

Qualifications

• Aged 18 or over.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to enhance safety.
• Carry out loss prevention and protect staff and visitors.
• Deter potential troublemakers on site lawfully.
• Observe and report incidents using correct reporting systems.
• Carry out duties assigned by the client or manager.
• Keep site knowledge up to date and identify local developments.
• Understand and implement fire and safety evacuation procedures.
• Assist with staff and contractor searches when required.
• Keep the security base clean and tidy at all times.
• Maintain full uniform and display SIA licence.

You must have an SIA door supervisor licence and a minimum of 3 years of security or relevant experience to be considered.

Position: Elite Security Officer

Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour

Hours: 40-48 hours per week

Shifts: Between 6am until midnight

Your Time at Work

As a Elite Retail Security Officer your duties include:

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• Carry out company policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
• Carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• Ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
• Understand and implement any fire and safety evacuation procedures
• Assist, if required by the client, with staff and contractor searches
• Ensure that the security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayed
