Job summary

TechPoint is seeking an Account Manager to manage existing customer accounts, identify new opportunities, and ensure exceptional service. You will be the primary contact between TechPoint and its customers, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to specification.

The role requires proven account management and business development skills, a background in electronics manufacturing, and willingness to travel across the South of England for customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electronics Manufacturing (EMS) or related industries such as PCB assembly or contract manufacturing.
• Proven track record in growing customer accounts and managing multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Willingness to travel across the South of England for customer meetings.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for assigned customers, building relationships to drive long-term business success.
• Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with Sales Team.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and production to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor order progress and address issues to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide market insights and attend industry events to enhance brand visibility.
• Maintain CRM records and report on performance and forecasts to senior management.
