Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is recruiting an Account Manager for an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) business in South Wales. You will own key customer accounts, manage technical and commercial discussions, and work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure on-time delivery and high quality while identifying growth opportunities.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of electronics, BOMs, and cable assemblies, with a focus on delivering complex EMS programmes and maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience in an Account Manager or Customer Service role within an EMS or CEM business.
• Strong knowledge of cable and wire harness assembly.
• Good understanding of electronic components and BOMs.
• Experience managing technical customer discussions and manufacturing handovers.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned customer accounts within an EMS environment.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as primary technical and commercial contact.
• Develop understanding of customer requirements and identify opportunities to increase account value.
• Manage customer expectations, engineering changes, and commercial discussions.
• Follow up quotations and customer orders to secure new and repeat business.
• Project manage customer programmes from development and NPI through to production and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, purchasing, logistics and manufacturing teams for successful project execution.
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities within existing accounts.
