Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician in Fareham to inspect, fault-find, repair and rebuild electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs returned from service. You will use structured fault-finding, electrical schematics and test equipment to identify issues and ensure quality.

The role supports 6S and continuous improvement within the Repairs Team, with exposure to Saab Seaeye’s ROV product range. You will work across components from detailed assembly work to final testing and sign-off,

Qualifications

• Experience in assembling, repairing and refur­­bishing electro-mechanical components.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong fault-finding skills with structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and re-build electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs.
• Perform structured fault-finding using drawings, schematics and test equipment.
• Carry out soldering, electrical Looming and other assembly tasks to quality standards.
