Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join its Repairs Team in Fareham, focusing on inspection, fault-finding and refurbishment of electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs returned from service.

You will work with structured fault-finding techniques, build understanding of Saab Seaeye ROV products and contribute to quality and continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical repair and PCB refurbishment.
• Ability to fault-find using schematics, drawings and test equipment.
• Strong focus on quality and precision in assembly and testing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and rebuild electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs.
• Carry out structured fault-finding and root cause analysis.
• Carry out soldering and assembly tasks to required standards.
• Support tests, quality checks and documentation of repairs.
• Assist with 6S, lean working and continuous improvement.
