Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician in Fareham to inspect, diagnose, repair and rebuild electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs. You will perform fault-finding with electrical schematics and test equipment, carry out soldering and loom work, and support testing and documentation.

The role offers exposure to complex hydraulics and opportunities for continuous improvement. You will work as part of Saab Seaeye's Repairs Team, contributing to quality and delivery while developing

Qualifications

• Experience in inspecting, fault-finding and repairing electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to repair PCBs and refurbish components.
• Familiar with electrical schematics and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and re-build electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs.
• Carry out structured fault-finding and root cause analysis.
• Perform soldering and electrical loom work to required standards.
• Work on hydraulic assemblies and assist pressure/leak testing.
• Maintain repair records and support continuous improvement activities.
• Support training and development of colleagues.
