Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join the Repairs Team. You will inspect, fault-find, repair, refurbish and re-build electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs returned from service, developing detailed knowledge of Saab Seaeye's ROV product range and testing procedures.

You will work across component level to final sign-off, performing structured fault-finding, soldering, loom work and quality checks while maintaining records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical repair, inspection and refurbishment of assemblies and PCBs.
• Ability to perform fault-finding using schematics and test equipment.
• Proficiency in soldering and wiring harness/loom assembly.
• Analytical mindset for root-cause analysis and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and rebuild electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs.
• Carry out fault-finding using drawings, schematics and test equipment.
• Perform soldering and loom wiring to quality standards.
• Work on hydraulic and electro-mechanical assemblies and assist with testing.
• Maintain accurate repair records and comply with quality processes.
