Site Engineer (Telemetry) - Permanent
Location: Severn Trent Region (Site-Based)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Electrical / Telemetry Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on essential water infrastructure. If you enjoy being hands‑on with ME&I systems, solving technical challenges on‑site, and taking real ownership of your work — this one will grab your attention.

The Role

Working across the Severn Trent catchment area, you'll be delivering new and replacement telemetry and instrumentation projects. You'll be involved in installing and modifying MCCs, commissioning, fault‑finding, signal testing, and completing all required documentation to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • ME&I installation, servicing and maintenance
  • Fault‑finding on instrumentation and telemetry equipment
  • Reviewing I/O schedules, panel drawings, and test documentation
  • Commissioning systems in line with industry standards
  • Completing site paperwork accurately and on time
  • Ensuring safe working practices and compliance at all times
  • Representing the company professionally on every project
What We're Looking For
  • Recognised electrical qualification (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • ECS Gold Card
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Solid understanding of electrical safety on live systems
  • Fluent IT capability, especially MS Excel
  • Self‑starter — can work alone or within a small site team
  • Water industry experience is a bonus, not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
