About the role

Fortis Recruitment are working with an exclusive client to recruit an Electrical ventilation engineer with electrical skills to their team. This is a mobile / field role that will cover the North East & Scotland.

We are looking for candidates who are qualified electricians and have BS#removed#th edition certification and a clean driving licence. The ventilation engineer will have experience surveying, installing and servicing industrial or commercial ventilation systems. Typical premises will be hotels & restaurants and installations will be within kitchen environments. Full product specific training will be given to install my clients products - typical products are ventilation and extraction equipment.

Requirements of the Electrical Ventilation Engineer

• 18th edition certified.
• Inspection 2391 desirable.
• Experience installing / maintaining electrical systems in a commercial or industrial environment
• Have been a mobile or field-based engineer working on different sites each day
• Controls / BMS / HVAC experience
• Experience with inverters - variable frequency drive - inverter drives - variable speed drives
• Good customer service skills
• Clean driving licence

The Electrical Ventilation Engineer will be working a 40 hour week and most days will be on the road by 6am. This position is paid from door to door. There will be occasions when you need to stay away overnight due to the work location (on average 1 night per week). The position comes with everything need to do the role including a company vehicle. Overtime is paid at x1.5 after 40 hours or there is the option to take Fridays off if you have completed 40 hours Monday - Thursday (subject to company approval).

We are looking for electricians who have experience in commercial or industrial situations installing large systems with controls.
