Responsibilities

• Perform Test and Inspection of electrical systems.

Job description

A 9 - 12-month contract opportunity is available for an experienced Test technician. My client is a leading electronic / electrical manufacturer based in Wiltshire. Their ideal candidate will have previous Test Technician experience of transformer & power supply equipment and familiarity with measurement and diagnostics in equipment over the range 600Vac to 400Adc.

The successful Electrical Test Technician will be responsible for performing Test and Inspection, Troubleshooting and Diagnosing, Repair and Rework, Document and Reporting of electrical systems, components and equipment and support testing of electrical transformer units.

Electrical Test Technician requirements :

• Time served Electrical Test Technician Apprenticeship or equivalent
• Qualified to ONC Electrical Engineering level or equivalent
• Ideally a UK national and will need to be CBS screened due to industry work environment
• Experienced with transformer & power supply equipment
• Familiarity with measurement and diagnostics in equipment over the range 600Vac to 400Adc
• Ability to follow test procedures, carry out limited fault finding and document results

25.00 - £30.00 per hour (Ltd company basis)
