Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking an Electrical Technician for our Bicester Sewage Treatment Works, with a salary up to £42,000 plus a company van, tools and PPE. The role includes maintenance, fault diagnosis and installation of electrical and mechanical plant, with training and development opportunities.

You will work around 38 hours weekly, with standby, overtime, and a focus on safety, quality, and customer service, contributing to reliable site operations for customers.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprentice with experience in mechanical/electrical systems
• NVQ or C&G level 3 in electrical engineering
• 18th Edition preferred but training can be given
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair electrical equipment
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and policies
• Record work and asset information to improve performance
• Provide technical advice and coaching to staff
• Ensure professional customer interaction and service quality
