Thames Water is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to be based at our Chieveley sewage treatment works. You will inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install or repair electrical and mechanical plant to keep sites operational with minimal supervision.

Role includes undertaking reactive and planned maintenance, responding to alarms, and providing technical advice while coaching staff. Base location: Chieveley STW.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ/C&G level 3 in electrical engineering.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations preferred; training available.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical plant.
• Respond to alarms and perform planned maintenance.
• Install new equipment and modify as required.
• Provide technical advice and support to staff.
