Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Electrical Technician for Maple Lodge STW. You will inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical and electrical equipment with minimal supervision to keep sites operational.

Base location Maple Lodge STW WD3 9SQ; 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. On-call standby and overtime can boost earnings; vehicles, PPE and tools are provided. Salary up to £42,000 per annum along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience in mechanical/electrical systems.
• 18th Edition preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of all colleagues, contractors and visitors.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance, respond to alarms and faults, install or repair plant and equipment.
• Record work and asset information; identify risks and propose improvements.
• Provide technical advice and coach staff, including apprentices.
