Job summary

Thames Water is hiring an Electrical Technician for Maple Lodge STW in Rickmansworth. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, fault-diagnosing, testing, installing, modifying and repairing mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment with minimal supervision.

Salary up to £42,000, 38 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, including standby and overtime opportunities. You will work to ensure site operations, safety, and environmental objectives are met, with PPE and a company van provided on

Qualifications

• Time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical/electrical systems.
• 18th Edition preferred, training available.
• Problem solver able to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Excellent communicator with staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others at all times.
• Undertake reactive and planned maintenance; respond to alarms and faults.
• Record work and asset information to improve performance and identify risks.
• Provide technical advice and coach staff, including apprentices.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and professionalism to internal and external customers.
