Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Process Technician - Electrician to maintain and repair wastewater treatment works, sludge centres and pumping stations across Kent. You will perform reactive and planned maintenance, install new equipment, and respond to alarms while upholding environmental, quality and safety standards.

This permanent, 38-hour per week role offers a salary of £38,247.41 to £45,896.13 per year, a company van with fuel card, health care cash plan and a competitive pension.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ Electrical qualification with certificates.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Undertake reactive and planned maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Install new plant and equipment as required.
• Respond to alarms and fault-find issues, fixing or escalating as needed.
• Carry out inspection and testing on electrical equipment following company procedures.
• Provide technical expertise to internal and external contractors.
• Update company systems and databases accurately and promptly.
• Participate in standby cover
