Job summary

ADR Specialists Ltd is seeking an electrically biased maintenance engineer to lead the Electrical Team in a heavy engineering environment at our distribution sites in Liverpool. You will work as part of a large maintenance team on plant machinery, focusing on electrical fault finding and proactive maintenance.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off shift, a £58.6k package, overtime and training opportunities, and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Time served engineer with recognised engineering qualification.
• Experience in distribution/industrial/Food/FMCG sectors preferred.
• Able to work in fast-paced environments with electrical bias tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair process equipment and plant machinery in a heavy engineering setting.
• Work with maintenance manager, production staff and technicians.
• Carry out planned inspections and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Follow site H&S procedures and report risks.
• Troubleshoot faults on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Carry out 'dirty' tasks as needed.

Person Requirements for the Electrical Team Leader:

• Time served engineer, preferably from the Distribution/Industrial/Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
• Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
• Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency

Job Requirements for the Electrical Team Leader:

Working predominantly as the electrically biased maintenance engineer within a large team, you will ideally have experience of industrial manufacturing environments with an electrical bias, with sound working knowledge of both sides of engineering.

• Work in partnership with the Maintenance manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• Electrically biased.
• Working within a challenging environment, getting stuck in and involved in 'dirty' tasks.
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
