Job summary

ADR Specialists Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced food manufacturing site in Liverpool. The role focuses on electrical maintenance within a large team, supporting process equipment and plant machinery, with an electrical bias and exposure to automation and PLC tasks.

You will work with the Site Engineering Manager and production staff, handling repairs, troubleshooting, and planned maintenance in a demanding environment, while adhering to site H&S protocols.

Qualifications

• Time served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry.
• Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND.
• Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments.
• Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• Electrically biased but mechanically capable.
• Working within a challenging environment, getting stuck in and involved in 'dirty' tasks.
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.

• Day Shifts (8 hours between Mon - Fri 07:30-17:00)

Person Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Time served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
