Job summary

ADR Specialists Ltd are seeking an electrically biased Team Leader to join a heavy engineering maintenance team in Liverpool. You will lead engineers focused on repair of process equipment and plant machinery within a fast-paced industrial setting.

Time served engineer with electrical/mechanical competency is essential. The role involves working with the Maintenance Manager and production staff, and includes 4 on 4 off shifts, potential overtime, and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Work with Maintenance Manager, production staff and technicians to repair process equipment and plant machinery.

• Handle 'dirty' tasks in a challenging environment.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance.

Person Requirements for the Electrical Team Leader:

• Time served engineer, preferably from the Distribution/Industrial/Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
• Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
• Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency

Job Requirements for the Electrical Team Leader:

Working predominantly as the electrically biased maintenance engineer within a large team, you will ideally have experience of industrial manufacturing environments with an electrical bias, with sound working knowledge of both sides of engineering.

• Work in partnership with the Maintenance manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• Electrically biased.
• Working within a challenging environment, getting stuck in and involved in 'dirty' tasks.
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
