Job summary

ADR Specialists Ltd in Liverpool is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site. You will work in a large team, carrying out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery with an electrical bias and knowledge of automation/PLC tasks.

You will partner with the Site Engineering Manager and production staff to ensure reliability and continuous improvement, performing planned inspections and proactive maintenance in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• Time served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
• Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
• Mechanically biased engineer with some electrical engineering competency

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• Condition Based Monitoring and asset reliability focus experience.
• Mechanically biased but electrically capable.
• Working within a challenging environment, getting stuck in and involved in 'dirty' tasks.
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.

Person Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Time served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
