Qualifications

  • Sales engineer experience is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills in English are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and procurement processes is desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about Sales, enjoy promoting technical features, and play well with others? Then this position might be the right one for you! Field Engineering is part of NOV Rig Technologies, Aftermarket, and our primary task is to deliver upgrades to drill ships and drilling rigs.

As an Electrical Sales Engineer in Field Engineering, you will be responsible for handling incoming requests, as well as pro-actively presenting upgrade opportunities considered valuable for our customers. The position also requires you to work closely with our technical disciplines to provide solutions in accordance with the customer's requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for an Electrical Sales Engineer to join our Field Engineering team within NOV Rig Technologies, Aftermarket. This role is pivotal in promoting and delivering technical upgrade solutions for drill ships and drilling rigs. Based in our Forfar, UK office, you will manage incoming upgrade requests, proactively identify customer needs, and develop tailored solutions in collaboration with our technical experts. You will play a key role in the complete sales process, from initial enquiry through to project handover.
