Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Technician to join the Estates Team at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. You will diagnose faults, repair and maintain building services, plant and equipment, and deliver safe isolations within your craft.

The role is based at Luton and Dunstable with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and participation in an on-call rota.

Formación

• Diagnose faults, carry out repair and maintain the building engineering services and equipment.
• Deliver safe isolations within your specialist craft skill set.
• Oversee others on fault-finding, repairs, maintenance and installation of complex plant and buildings.

Responsabilidades

• To work using own initiative in completing projects as instructed by the Estates Managers & Officers.
• To carry out testing, servicing and maintaining various equipment (e.g. decontamination, medical gas systems and gas boilers).
• Identify, diagnose and rectify faults of a more complex nature in the buildings engineering services (fire alarms, Building Management System, steam boilers).
• Fabricate, assemble, erect, install and commission new work.
• Carry out periodic checking, servicing and testing of plant and equipment.
• Ensure the efficient running and operation of plant and equipment by monitoring and logging performance data.
