Electrical Installations Manager

Location: Bournemouth or Ferndown

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Salary: Up to £48,000pa (D.O.E)

I am currently recruiting for a Electrical Installation Manager role on behalf of a highly successful, FCA-regulated renewable technology business. Our client has spent over 14 years becoming a leader in solar, battery, and heat pump installations.

The Role

As the Electrical Installation Manager, you will be a key figure in a thriving installations team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance for solar and battery projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical assistance to Installation Teams and Operations Executives.
  • Quality & Compliance: Enforce electrical compliance to the latest standards, ensuring all work meets BS regulations and MCS requirements.
  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate and manage solar installations, taking responsibility for the successful execution of customer contracts.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with fellow managers on projects to enhance installation efficiency and elevate customer service levels.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a consistently high standard of work through robust quality control systems.
Required Experience & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong technical foundation and a keen eye for detail.

  • Qualifications: Level 3 in Electrical Installation (NVQ or equivalent), 18th Edition Certificate, and Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent).
  • Technical Expertise: Essential experience in PV Solar is required. Experience with EV charging technology is highly beneficial.
  • Skills: A clear understanding of electrical technical issues and resolutions, with the ability to work effectively within a deadline-driven team.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to manage both office-based teams and field-based engineers.
