Resourcing Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for an office-based role with occasional on-site visits. You will troubleshoot end-user technical product issues and support business clients, electricians, installers and the public.

The role involves remote monitoring, ticketing, diary management for site visits, route planning, and providing technical product training. A strong electrical background and the ability to learn quickly are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a technical support role.
• Electrical background is ideal; metering experience a huge plus.
• Strong technical background and ability to learn products quickly.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, batteries; DC/AC inverters, metering, renewables is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot end-user technical product issues.
• Support business clients, electricians, installers and the public.
• Handle inbound/outbound support via ticketing system (calls and emails).
• Remote monitoring to resolve issues over the phone.
• Diary management and weekly site visits to customers and sites.
• Route planning for site visits; remote diagnosis of product issues.
• Provide external and internal technical product training.
• Assist Head of Technical with ISO procedures and technical documentation.
