Job summary

Focus Resourcing is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for an office-based role in the United Kingdom. Salary will be between £35,000 and £40,000 depending on experience.

The role involves troubleshooting end-user technical product issues, supporting business clients, electricians, installers and the public. You will manage tickets, perform remote diagnostics, and organise weekly site visits. Occasional on-site visits are possible.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a technical support role.
• Electrical background is ideal and any metering experience is a huge plus.
• Strong technical background and ability to learn products quickly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot end user technical product issues.
• Support business clients, electricians, installers and the general public.
• Work with a ticketing system, handling inbound and outbound support calls and emails.
• Remote monitoring to find solutions over the telephone.
• Diary management and weekly site visits to customers' homes and commercial sites.
• Route planning and remote diagnostics of product issues.
• Provide external and internal technical product training.
• Assist Head of Technical with ISO procedures and documentation control.
