Job summary

Focus Resourcing is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for an office-based role in the United Kingdom. Salary will be between £35,000 and £40,000 depending on experience.

The role involves troubleshooting end-user technical product issues, supporting business clients, electricians, installers and the public. You will manage tickets, perform remote diagnostics, and organise weekly site visits. Occasional on-site visits are possible.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a technical support role.
Electrical background is ideal and any metering experience is a huge plus.
Strong technical background and ability to learn products quickly.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot end user technical product issues.
Support business clients, electricians, installers and the general public.
Work with a ticketing system, handling inbound and outbound support calls and emails.
Remote monitoring to find solutions over the telephone.
Diary management and weekly site visits to customers' homes and commercial sites.
Route planning and remote diagnostics of product issues.
Provide external and internal technical product training.
Assist Head of Technical with ISO procedures and documentation control.
