Job summary
Mott MacDonald is recruiting Electrical Engineers to join the Energy unit's Transmission & Distribution division. The role supports client projects from inception to commissioning, delivering 11kV and 33kV switchgear networks and renewables connections.
The successful candidate will lead technical design, bid contributions, and project delivery across multiple sites. The position offers opportunities across renewables, data centres, healthcare, and other sectors, with a flexible hybrid working
Qualifications
- Chartered engineer with professional engineering qualification.
- Experience in electrical design for LMV/HV networks and renewables.
- Strong communication skills for reporting, bids, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical designs for major electrical and multi-disciplinary works.
- Lead project delivery and ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.
- Support bids, proposals and client engagements with technical input.
- Mentor junior staff and graduates.
