Mott MacDonald seeks an Electrical Building Services Engineer to join the Energy Networks team in the UK. You will contribute to the design of energy infrastructure, substations and converter stations, working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions.

You will develop drawings and calculations, coordinate with civil and protection disciplines, and help deliver projects to time and budget within a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Postgraduate experience in building services design.
• Experience in infrastructure, utilities, energy, or commercial sectors.
• Understanding of HVAC, mechanical and electrical building services systems.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and calculations.
• Familiarity with UK standards & regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive learning and problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Support the delivery of building services engineering designs for energy infrastructure and industrial facilities.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications and technical documentation under guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in the development of design drawings, layouts and schematics for HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical building services and water services.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines including civil, structural, protection and control, and primary plant teams.
• Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient building services solutions.
• Support project teams in delivering work to quality, programme and budget requirements.
• Assist with site visits, surveys and inspections where required.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations and company procedures.
• Participate in client and internal project meetings.
• Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
