Job summary

Mott MacDonald is recruiting Electrical Engineers (Senior/Principal) in the Energy unit, Transmission & Distribution, to support projects from inception to commissioning. The role spans renewables, grid connections, and protection schemes.

You will lead design work for 11kV/33kV networks and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams across the UK and overseas. The role requires Chartered status, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in LV up to 11kV / 33kV projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Coordinate with multi disciplines internal and external.
• Be able to travel in the UK and overseas if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions and leadership in electrical designs for major infrastructure works.
• Manage projects and deliverables to meet client expectations, time and budget.
• Support and develop junior staff and graduates.
