Job summary

Mott MacDonald is recruiting Electrical Engineers to support client projects from inception to commissioning across renewable, transmission & distribution networks. You will work on 11kV/33kV switchgear networks, protection schemes, and HV connections, delivering high-quality designs and bid support.

The role requires Chartered status or equivalent, strong communication, and ability to travel within the UK and overseas.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven skills and experience in energy sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in electrical project engineering from LV to 11kV/33kV.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Familiar with bid procedures and internal governance.
• Aware of procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Willing to travel in the UK and overseas.
• Self-motivated with initiative and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions and project leadership in electrical designs for major works.
• Contribute to bids and proposals and ensure compliance with client scope.
• Manage engineering projects and deliverables on time and within budget.
• Support and develop junior staff and graduates.
