Job description
Overview

Working as an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for maintenance, response, and fault analysis of building operations within the Building Services Team.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day servicing of the electrical infrastructure and the ability to carry out breakdown maintenance on mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM), response, and fault analysis within service level agreements.
  • Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
  • Be aware of Safe Systems of Work and its application, performed under the terms of the contract.
  • Assist with sub-contractor inductions and putting people safely to work.
  • When required, conduct reactive and extra work requirements in adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with HASAWA legislation and Our Way of Working.
Qualifications
  • Electrical City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 / Level 3 or equivalent, and BMS experience.
  • Demonstrate understanding of statutory compliance for HVAC and Water Treatment.
  • Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely qualification or similar.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
