Qualifications

  • Producing Single Line Diagrams and General Arrangements.
  • Attending and contributing to design review meetings.

  • Producing documentation related to Factory Acceptance Testing.

Skills

Strong Electrical Design background

Electrical Design Engineer – South Yorkshire – Permanent – AutoCAD

Location: South Yorkshire

Work Pattern: 4 Days in Office, 1 Remote

Software: 2D AutoCAD

Electrical Design Engineer's key responsibilities
  • Producing Single Line Diagrams & General Arrangement
  • Attending and contributing to design review meetings
  • Creating detailed electrical schematics and layouts
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications
  • Produce documentation related to Factory Acceptance Testing and attend test sessions at panel manufacturer sites
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems including electrical distribution equipment, motor control centres and PLC control panels
Electrical Design Engineer's main requirements
  • Strong Electrical Design background
  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of BS EN 60204 and BS7671
  • Experience working on industrial or commercial projects
  • Ability to work effectively in an office–based team (4 days/week)

The office is commutable from Leeds, Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Wakefield, Chesterfield, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Rotherham, Batley, Bradford and Chesterfield.
