Progressive Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a renewable technology environment in Clevedon. You will design, develop and maintain electrical systems and sub-assemblies, supporting product customization and engineering changes while ensuring compliance with specifications, quality, cost and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing electrical systems, schematics, and control circuits.
• Experience with Electrical CAD tools, preferably AutoCAD Electrical.
• Understanding of electrical design principles and engineering documentation.
• Experience creating Bills of Materials and supporting technical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Electrical design and development of products, modules and sub-assemblies.
• Support product customization and engineering change activities.
• Produce electrical schematics, drawings and documentation.
• Select electrical components to meet customer and legislative requirements.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials and design records.
• Support verification, validation and testing activities.
• Ensure designs meet safety and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
• Assist fault-finding and engineering investigations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice.
